Ruth Corney is an award-winning photographer based in North London.
As well as leading projects (Making Inroads being the most recent), she has also been instrumental in putting together and realising bids for other commissions
A lot of Ruth's work has a watery feel, starting with Victoria Baths in 1992, and more recently with Ironmonger Row Baths.
She is currently working on a book commission with Caitlin Davies which will use a mixture of archive images, interviews and her contemporary photos to chart the history of places to swim on Hampstead Heath.

Ruth recently photographed a wedding couple in full bridal attire at the Parliament Hill Lido. A perfect combination of two of Ruth's interests: weddings and water!
Ruth is always interested in working on projects which have an important social value. She has spent a lot of time working with charities such as Rowan Arts, the Family and Parenting Institute, St Luke's Community Centre and currently a children's charity based in Holborn.
